Campus Trust is made up of various member institutions each with their own specialized plans tailored to their institution’s needs. FREQUENTLY ASK QUESTIONS

  • Full-time students are automatically enrolled in the STUSU Extended Health and Dental Benefits Plan when they register for classes.

    The health and dental plan fee is automatically applied to your Student Fees Account.

    Further information on benefits eligibility requirements can be found in STUSU Booklet 2023 or visit studentbenefits.ca!

  • Eligible students will have a twelve (12) month term of coverage commencing September 1st.

    Students enrolling after September 1st will be eligible for the remainder of the student year.

  • STUdents can start using their plans simply by heading over to studentbenefits.ca and REGISTER AN ACCOUNT - all coverage information will be available immediately!

    There are many services available on studentbenefits.ca that will make your benefit plan easier than ever to access so register now!

  • Once you are eligible for coverage and have registered at studentbenefits.ca, you will be able to print the following Benefits Cards under the Download Centre:

    Pay-Direct Card - Pharmacy: present this card to your pharmacist (along with your prescription) in order to access the electronic pay-direct system.

    Pay-Direct Card - Health and Dental Practitioner: present this card to the health or dental practitioner in order to access the electronic pay-direct system.

    Travel Card: This card will give you coverage for 90 days while you are travelling.

  • Coverage information is available in STUSU Booklet, which can found above, in your STUemail and available for access after you register your account at studentbenefits.ca!

  • Your policy number will be available to you after you create an account at studentbenefits.ca.

  • Claim now can be submitted ONLINE as an easy and practical way to submit your health and dental claims. After you have register for an account at studentbenefits.ca, you will be able to access the claim centre! Further instruction will be available once you registered on the website!

    Complete each section of the claim form in full, including your certificate number, signatures, and correct mailing address - all of which will be available once you registered for an account at studentbenefits.ca.

  • Claims must be submitted within six (6) months of the date of service.

 

OPT-OUT?

Students can opt-out online once they register for the student benefits account at studentsbenefits.ca before DEADLINE given by Financial Services.
